Wade Phillips Fired!
#2
Long overdue.
#3
According to espn.com, Jason Garrett will replace Phillips.
#4
When Romo went down.....
Wade's days were over.
Should have been over before that.
That's the straw that broke the camel's back though Wink
#5
Last night was the straw that broke the camels back..
Replacing the coach isn't gonna help this team...
#6
^Well they were getting beat with Romo.
Expect them to get blown out with Jon Kitna at the helm.
I used to be a huge Kitna fan, but I thought he was done when Palmer replaced him in Cincy, let alone all these years later lol

Cowboys was up 17-3 or something like that against the giants when romo went down. But im sure your meaning the season as a whole. This team has super talent. If they can get a coach that emphasizes defense and rallies the players together. They could be very dangerous next year.

Dallas will continue to struggle, it's a shame you have so called talent (Romo) on a football team and have only won a game.

Never Do

The question now remains: Can this team win it all? Should Jerry Jones sell/trade this team off and start over, OR can the talent and attitudes of this team coexist to bring in a Ring?
#14
Way too much talent on this team for them to struggle as bad as they are.
#15
i thought about this last night that he would get fired
#16
personally, i dont believe he deserves to be fired. when your kids dont come out to play, how come it is fully put on the head coach. numerous times it didnt even seem as if the cowboys were trying
#17
Cowboy fans are relieved now.

As a Skins fan I thought you would want Phillips and current staff to stay around. Afterall, the Cowboys are keeping the media attention off of the Shanahan/McNabb/Haynesworth debacle.

This had me all broken up. I loved Wade "Where am I?" Phillips. He was a perfect clueless fit for the team everybody had picked to go to the Superbowl. Nobody could have taken that team to the set of lows that Wade did. Wade Phillips will be missed by fans, players and coaches from 31 other teams in the NFL. With that said, I hope he somehow ends up in Baltimore. Or New England. But...mainly Baltimore, lol..
