A lot can happen during that time don't look ahead to nothing or you will be going to watch the final games from the seats...

I agree 100 percent. Belfry didnt beat Central that bad but they won. I'm a Central fan but they better get their mind on Russell not Belfry on down the line. I,m glad our boys finaly think they can beat Belfry but they do need to shut up til the day we do beat Beflry till then just keep our mouths shut and focus on Russell

I know that. I m just glad we are getting some respect around the district. We deserve it, Dont get me wrong I would love to see you guys in the playoffs. The frist game this year was a good game till late and I think if we meet again in the playoffs it will also be a great one good luck to the pirates in the playoffs. Any time you play a good team, missed tackles and turnovers will lose the game for you. I honestly thought a weak schedule from PCC would hurt them more in this game, but they flat out wanted it more, which was obvious in the 4th qtr especially (as a defense, when you know what play the offense is going to run and u still cant stop it, u r gonna lose... kudos to the PCC offensive line, who looked like bulldozers in the 4th). Decent offensive game out of the burg, not their best. First half defense was as good as 2nd half defense was bad. PCC's QB is one of the best in the mountains, hands down, he still locks onto receivers at times, but what HS qb doesnt? I'm still a little confused on this rule in hs football- if a player goes out of the game with an official injury timeout, does he have to sit out a play no matter what? or can his team call a timeout and get him back in the game without sitting out a play? (which was the case in this game) i'm no official so I was just wondering if any of u were, or if any of u know what the ruling on that would be. Not a big deal though, just curious, the players play the game, the coaches coach and the refs make the calls, that's football... Good luck to both teams in the playoffs, they both have a tall mountain to climb to win their region.

Belfry is the only respected Pike County team in my opinion, but don't focus on them though. We will be waiting for you at the Rock. Hope to see you all soon!!!

PCC defended Prestonsburg very well, but Crisp made some very bad throws tonight into double and triple coverage. But even when he did throw a good ball it seemed like our guys couldn't hang on to it. Jamerson played very well for us tonight, as he come up with some nice catches including the nice TD grab in the endzone. Also, is it me or was Adam Crisp's throwing form different than what it has been all season?
I also would like for us to get rid of the jet sweep. It will not work against good teams. I think our running game would be more effective out of the power-I, like we used to run a few seasons ago. But it's simply too late to go away from something our guys have been doing for two seasons now and I realize that we have to keep defenses honest by running the ball, but the jet sweep just isn't cutting it against good teams, like we will face in the playoffs.
All-in-all, PCC was the better team tonight. They outplayed & outcoached us in the second half.

Quick question...the sticker on Central's helmets are the same stickers Iowa uses on theirs, right? I like em' better than the old "PC". I just wish they'd go back to the blue jerseys as their main home jersey's, and have the orange ones for alternates.

First off I'd like to say GREAT game for the Hawks. That was a great way to comeback and snap the home game winning streak for Prestonsburg. Second I'd like to add that both teams came at each other it was like a heavyweight fight round for round but, only one can came out victorious, with that being said I have to say P'burg played a great game Jamerson is a stud of a receiver it seemed like no many how many people covered him he would always come down with the ball. What grade is Jamerson in? Good luck to both teams in the play-offs.
