Former Middlesboro QB, and starting QB for the Pikeville College Bears, Trevor Hoskins has been named the NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts on October 16th, a 70-58 LOSS against Georgetown College at Gtown.

I love seein the Eastern Kentucky boys succeed. I just wish Pikeville would realize that there are many more boys from EKY just like Hoskins who could be a major contribution to the program, not only as far as wins and losses, but also on the money end of it. The more EKY boys, the more fans in the stands. And if I'm not mistakin, one of Hoskins favorite targets is also an EKY native, a former Knott County Patriot, Bobby Owens.

there is so much talent close to home, but the pikeville coaches only believe in south carolina recruits and other places. the head coach joe johnson also defensive coordinator is not doing is part and has not done his part see he took the role. On the field with below than average, and not even winning a game this year... and off the field with his trouble making recruits and players that we see in the local paper about every week.

I dont root for thugs anywhere, whether its here or Miami, but if theyd go after more players like Trevor, or some eastern Kentucky boys, it would make easier to root for them.
