Really?...Did this thread even need to be posted to hear if Somerset will win? They will win, the question is will they put of more than 70 or take it light?..haha

Don't forget that Garrard County only lost to Somerset last season by 14 points at Somerset. They have several players back from that team and have been playing very well. I don't think this will be the 50 point blowout that some are predicting.

So do you not think Somerset is better than last season? I don't know much but based on Somerset and Garrard's performance this season I just don't see this one being close.

I do think Somerset is better this season. I'm just saying that Garrard gave them some problems last season, have a lot returning, are well-coached, and are playing well right now. I hope (and I'm pretty sure they don't) that the Somerset players aren't just planning on showing up and winning by a running clock. Garrard and Wayne both played Somerset tough last year and do not need to be overlooked. I guarantee they aren't going to be scared because Somerset is ranked #1 in 3A.

The Briar Jumpers at (7-0) coming off their highest scoring affair of the season with 71 points against Taylor County going up against an average Golden Lions team at (3-3) who are currently on a 3 game winning streak. Garrard County MIGHT be able to make a game out of the first quarter!
