Perry Central @ Clay Co. 10/8
#1
Perry leaves the cozy confines of Hazard for the first time all season and Clay has more injuries that you can shake a stick at.

I'm giving the nod to the Tigers just because its in Manchester, by a single point in a war.
#2
I will take PCC and their speed

Depends on who is injured for Clay. Depth is their weakness. In 5A football its hard to beat a team like Perry with 6 or 7 going both ways; and if one of those are hurt its like losing 3 players since the only reason they are going both ways is you really have nobody close to them to play the position or they would only be going 1 way.

And the way PCC is playing this year - it would take a team on all cylinders to beat them. I'm a Clay fan but this one is likely PCC 28-21

Clay will be ready and Perry does not have as much speed as Clay.

I guarantee you that Perry has more overall speed and individual speed than Clay or anyone in there district. With the game being at Clay, the game will be closer, but I still see Perry winning in a high scoring game. Whoever wins this game is in the drivers seat and will win district. Everybody else is just playing for 3rd.

Could go either way. Both teams have big lines, brusier RBs, and both have soild QBs. The game being played at Clay could give them the edge.I'd like to see Haddix go 10-0 in his 1st season and the big basketball school but I think it'll end this friday.

:dontthink Not so fast my friend! Noah Reid is by far one of the fastest guys in the Mountains with a TRUE 4.5 40. Hooker was right there until a freak injury last year. At least 10 guys on the team with a 4.7 or 4.8.

PCC is finally leaving the friendly compound of the gardens and I for one can't wait till the Tigers put it on them. However, we will treat you guys right in manchester! Wink

Mr. C.J. Miller runs like he has something to prove and to me one of the best backs in the area. He is a LOAD!!!!

Lets quit talking about who's schedule is tougher. We all know we have each other in our schedules. And PCC will prove this friday in Manchester ky who the best team in the district is. and i don't wanna hear about clay's injuries. pcc has about 6 out for the season. 3 of them being seniors. and 3 having to get surgery. I personally hope every one of Clays players will be playing that way they wont have any excuses when perry rolls over them. then we'll keep on rollin toward harlan and whitley and get our 1ST DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL!!! 10-0

I said before these teams are mirror images of each and the winner of this game will be whos defense stops the big play. I will give the edge to Perry because of Matt Robinson. Offense matches up well and before the season id probably give clay the edge but now that Perry has 3 recievers that can make plays i gotta give them the edge. I say perry gets the win/

I know Clay has a few players with speed but everyone of Perry's skill position players has incredible speed. Perry also has more speed on the defensive side of the ball, that's what I meant when I said Perry had more overall speed. Perry also has the best defensive player in the mnts, in Robinson.

Harlan wins the district!!!!!!!!
What has Harlan done to prove there going to win district. I hate to be the one to tell you this but whoever wins this game, wins district. Harlan is just playing for 3rd. Now this thread is about Perry/Clay, so please leave the Harlan going to win district garbage out of this thread.

Perry has one of the hardest hitting defensive linemen I've ever seen in Jared Deaton, it will be hard to keep him out of the backfield. But what I think gives Perry the edge if the player who takes the snaps. Huff is improving so much each game and is one heck of a QB, he puts the ball in the perfect spot for the receiver to catch it 99.9% of the time and always sales the fake good. I think Huff decides the outcome of this game..
