Will The Carmelo Trade Go Through?
#1
As the summer went by and all the free agents made their moves and "decisions", there is still one move out there that just might be made soon, but as a trade. In a 4 team trade, the Nets would land Carmelo Anthony, the Nets would send their #1 pick Derrick Favors to Denver, Nuggets would also get Jazz forward Andre Kirlenko, Nets guard Devin Harris would be traded to the Bobcats, and the Jazz would recieve Boris Diaw, also Denver would get 2 first round draft picks. This trade is right on the brink of going through, what does everyone think about it?

i hope it doesn't. i want him on the Bulls Smile

Nets with Carmelo? hmm. Maybe he can help turn em' around in a few years. He's built a pretty strong team at Denver.. I think he should leave too.
#4
I say it does get done but I dont really know where he will end up.

^Same here, I do know he wants to leave..
But the Nets? IDK if he wants to go there though LOL.

I seen today, Warriors are trying to get Melo for Curry. I also heard the 76ers in the mix as well going to give up 1st round pick this year Evan Turner and a couple of more players.

Carmelo said today that he "never once" asked for a trade...

Mello is a thug and he'll never get a ring unless he goes to a team where he is the second option(or the second and third options are REALLY good lol).
He isn't the kind of player that can lead you to a ring.

i really want him to come to Chicago

He doesn't want to be traded because it won't be his decision where he goes..
He becomes a free agent next year and he will have a say so where he goes..
Denver is just using this to hopefully get something back in return..

and as a GM you pretty much HAVE to do that.
You can't just watch all that talent walk away unless you have someone to fill in the cap space after he leaves.

I look for big things out of Chicago with what they have.
I wouldn't take a shot at Carmelo.

According To Sources The Nets Have Pulled Out OF This Trade

Orlando Magic should trade straight up for Melo..

Lewis for Melo, seems like a good trade to me!

Lewis makes more money than Anthony does....
The nuggets would be stupid to do that.

EXACTLY!!! Lewis is taking up precious cap space in Orlando.. We need to get rid of him.. He's a burden to the team!!!!

Haha
That's their fault for taking that contract.
He isn't worth the money.
They need turkoglu back.

If we could keep both, then we'd be riding high.
