Perrys offense played great, Im more impressed with Huff every game. There Defense was ok except I saw #40 idk how many times hit a player from Letcher with his shoulder and not rap up and Letchers player just bounced right off. I think the score was 44-7 before Perrys jv came in. Good win Dores!

Letcher actually scored first, then PCC put up 44 unanswered before putting in the second string. They looked good tonight, a great start to district play.

Very happy to start district play with a win. Huff gets better every game. On the radio they said his stats were 350 yds passing and 5 tds. Seems like I read in a previous thread that LCC's QB was supposed to be the best QB in the district. He was pressured all night and sure didn't look like it. Perry eased up in the second half or it could have been much worse. Grats to PCC on the win and keep your heads up LCC.

Well Well Well. I finally decided to come up to Hazard and watch these commodores. Before I say anything bad. They have a really good ball club. They are physical on both sides of the ball and their skill players have a ton of speed. Their QB Huff has a strong arm, I liked his game. I did find out one thing its going to be hard to win any games at PC. They are 5-0 this year and all home games, how is PC going to react to away officals, this game was rediclious for penalties. LCC had 15 penalties in the 1st half, everytime they seem to make a drive it was a penalty, honestly I dont know if LCC is normally that bad for penalties but I know I talked to a few fans there and they said it is always like this at PCC. I'm giving credit were it is due. I like PCC's game but I'm curious to see how this team will play going into Clay and Whitley on the road.

Actually Letcher had 13 penalties with about 2 minutes to go in the game..and Letcher held all night so lets not start with the refs were helping.

Why does it always go there?
Until someone sits down with film, its unfair to say that the refs simply cheated for a team. To the avg fan anytime there team makes a big play and there is a flag they will say they were cheated. They dont realize the flag was thrown way before the play turned into a huge gain or td. Or even that its possible the huge gain or TD was because of the penalty. I.E the runner only got outside to break a long run because the tackle held.
I will say I thought there was a lot of flags tonight, but until I look at the film I cant say they weren't necessary flags. I will also say when I saw the crew officiating tonight I was happy. It was a veteran crew who does a good job on most nights.

The officiating at Perry County Central has drawn a GREAT deal of "ATTENTION".

Thats because everyone gets butt hurt from losing and has to have an excuse as to why they got beat.

Congrats to PCC. Sounds like they had the right game plan and carried it out. LCC....who woulda thunk it. Sounds like they can't get it going or are on a fast track going the wrong direction. I do hope LCC can turn it around. In preseason most thought they were the district favorite with all they had returning.

This has got to be the worst defeat in the history of LCC! Don't know what the future holds for this program, but I know that the powers that be are not happy with this team nor are they happy with this coaching staff. Give PCC credit for beating this team, and maybe saving this program from being a laughing stock. LCC football is going to be about 3 years from being what they was. I really don't understand the fact that we have the talent, but they seem like they don't want to come ready to play.

PC is simply a better team. LCC is having a tough year and Perry Central made them pay for not being crisp. Look for Perry Central to make a deep run in the 5A playoffs.
PCC and Clay County would be a great game to see.

It's not worse than any other place though. I thought the officials did a great job last night compared to last weeks crew.
