A average Class A team just beat Carroll last week, so now they get to play a below average WV Team. I will take Carroll, 32-6.
Carroll just learned that they will be playing AAA next year, so they better win now.

First home game for Walton-Verona this year under the new lights just installed at their field-turf field. Bearcats are moving up to Class AA next year.

Just saw Walton-Verona's new lights on during a JV game tonight. Very nice even lighting over the field. Overall not as bright of light level as I've seen on other high schools fields. The sports lighting they are using is Mucso sports lighting system which is one of the best but they are only using 4 light poles which have been placed at the 10 yard lines on each side of the field instead of the 20 yard lines. I have been a sports videographer for seventeen years for several television stations and have shot video at a lot of stadiums thru out western ky, southern Indiana, and northen ky. Kind of dissappointed the lighting is not brighter as much money they have put into this football complex. Probably the two best high school fields I have shot on over the years have been Henderson Co and Calloway Co in western ky.

I`m going to say Carroll shouldn`t have any problem with Walton/Verona.I haven`t paid attention to there whole season so far,but they beat Gallatin County with no problem,and we had W/V beat but a couple of freshmen mistakes let them back in the game and we eventually lost in double overtime.W/V better be ready for alot of blitzing.

well you should know that old henry man is a henry county fan who is a very fair guy and as for me carroll get so much hype about being good win they play class a team the first 4 to 5 game and loses to the 2a team and then playes dayton and i think henry would agree with me that carroll should play some tougher team then bracken and ludlow
