Lawrence Co. hires David Miller

David P. Miller former assistant at Ashland and Carroll County High School for three years before taking the past two years off as a coach in order to watch his son, Brett, play basketball at Union College.

Don't know what to think if this hire. Batpuf what is your opinion of it. Was really pleased with the girls hire but have mixed feelings in this one.

Well they hired all three on the same day.. Principal, Girls Coach, and Boys Coach.

Very nice guy, knew him when he was assistant at Ashland.

I believe that Miller was the Head Coach at Carroll.

He was when he left Ashland.He was Mike Flynn's assistant at Ashland, then took the head job at Carroll Co where he played high school. See post #1.

Yes it will be very interesting!!! From what I hear we only have some of the JV team coming back and the rest is middle schoolers should be FUN to watch:popcorn:

He was also head coach at tiny Williamstown Ind. in Grant Co. back in the late 80's. Then went I think to Russell Co. after that before coming to Ashland.

Miller seems to be a good guy, i feel bad for him because all the players quit and left, he will have to rebuild for a couple years, some good players coming up.

LC doesn't look to hot, only 4 kids a practice so far, none which have never played in highschool before.

LC will b down for the next few years, but the program will b rebuilt i can promise you that
