Lawrence County's Schedule

Well if LC does end up back in 3a the schedule will certainly change.

All indications point LC dropping to AAA next fall so they schedule will change a great deal..it will be nice playing Belfry..Russell...and Sheldon Clark annually..

:Clap:I agree that playing belfry, sheldon clark, russell will be better to watch.these teams are natural rivals of l.c. And have contributed in the past to account for some of the best played football in e.ky. 3a football is the best chance moutain schools have of competing for a state championship.all 4 of these schools have built a winning and exciting tradition of mtn. Football!I FOR 1 LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING SOME GREAT BATTLES IN THE FUTURE. I FEEL WE ALL NEED TO STOP ARGUING AND GET BEHIND OUR E.KY. TEAMS. MTN. SCHOOLS HAVE A HARD ENOUGH TIME AGAINST THE REST OF THE STATE,LETS SUPPORT THEM ALL!:Clap:

I really don't see the dawgs losing a game this year regular season and pretty excited about possibly seeing bell co. Again. They got to come here this year so really looking forward to it. Dudley teams have had our number but feel its gonna run out this year look for alot of great things especially on offense look for things to really open up and look for us to be tough on "d" also.

not to take away from LC i hope they win every game. i give coach sammons kudos for puting together a sched. that will build confidence. back in the late 80s we did the same thing we played a weak sched. and built a program that could compete with anyone (look at what LC did in the 90s) wins produce more wins

Well I hate to tell you but us moving down doesnt mean we will be in the district with them.. It could be us Magoffin, Morgan, East Carter and West Carter. Or even us Lewis and Mason Co.

The schedule change was genius IMO. There is a lot more kids coming out to play and it has Lawrence County football back on the map. In the following years you will see a tougher schedule but the coaching staff has done a great job turning this around.

Never did I say that we would be in the district with those teams..just said it would be nice to have the chance to play them again.
