Lawrence Co to run it and run it some more and will be real physical... Perry Co will spread it out and throw it around.

Lawrence County and Perry Central both stood out in my opinion, Huntington High looked the weaker out of the three teams competing. Both defenses for LC and PCC were stout against the run, but both gave up yards and a TD in the air. Both teams will make quite some noise in their respective divisions.

pcc looked the best followed by lawrence. perrys d looked good the whole game. Lawrence put together a scoring drive against them with perrys back up linebackers and d line though. there offense was shaky at first but picked it up and scroed on both teams

LC was the best conditioned team it looked like... The TD that PCC scored was against a kid that has never played CB at all but not making excuses PCC has one fine football team.. They should do real well in 5a this year. They had an outstanding LB in number 12 he was all over the place... There O line and D line is probably one of the best we will see this year until the play offs.

PCC and LC played pretty much even, They were both better than Huntington WV Highlanders. PCC and LC seems to be balance teams that can throw it or run it. I know one thing for sure, #12, a JR for PCC is a excellent football player at LB. He can cover the field from end to end and he can finish it when he arrives at the scene! . You will know his name before the season is over and see his highlights on WYMT. Good work for all 3 teams and the JV. Good luck to PCC and the Highlanders!

#12 wasnt in on that drive lol his name is matt robinson and he set the school record for tackles in a season his freshman year then broke it last year. hes what makes there defense go. perry also returned their starting oline from last year and there d line has gotten stronger. perrys skill players looked a little out of shape but they have two weeks to practice before they play. lc and perry were clearly better than hunnington though. i heard lawrence lost alot but it still looks like they will have a good season.
