What is your prediction ?:1:

I've heard that Collins got most of Shelby Valley's best players, and moreover they are 4A, so I would predict that SC will have their hands full.

Shelby County. I have heard the same about talent. I do know that Creasp (spelling?) is going to Collins. He was the starting QB last season for Shelby Co., I am not sure about anyone else. The majority of the talent at Shelby Co. came from West Middle, which will be Collins' feeder school.

Good match up; ball control of SC against the pass happy ML Collins, which defense can hold the line will be the winner of this game

dont kw alot about ML since its there 1st year, but i will say SC will be a hand full

ML collins is a very fast team hope the best for sc.

Very tuff game to predict because i dont think nobody will know what to expect from ML Collins but if they are a pass happy team then it could be a interesting game..
i'll take the cards by 2 td's though..

Thanks for pointing out that it is Shelby County, not Shelby Valley. My typing was ahead of my thoughts, I guess.

I feel that SC will perform well; I have confidence in the team and Coach Hager.

Growing up in NEKY, I used to call Shelby Co Shelby Valley all the time. My wife, a Shelby Co. grad used get on me all the time. It took me a while to get used to living here in Shelbyville. As far as the game, Collins looks to be a talented team. I would believe they will use the same system that Lucas used as the O-coordinator at Shelby Co. Look for a lot of passing. Brenden Creasp has a good arm and has a nice touch on his passes, very underrated player here in the Louisville area. Not sure what to expect from the defense. I do know that Tom Becher is the D-coordinator. As far as what kind of defense he will run, he stepped down as coach before I moved here. He was a long time head coach at Shelby Co. he lead them to a state title and a runner up during his tenure here.

Collins has some talented skils players, I seen that at Campbellsville University in a 7 on 7 and they won the tournament. The talent included Marion and Boyle (and I know its only a 7 on 7) but they had some imprressive looking skills guys.

I see this being a tough game for SC as Collins will throw the ball all over the field but with the o- line and solid running attack I feel that Collins will not be able to handle SC so I will say the Cards by nine.

great to hear you all have confindence but we will see really how good we r on the 21st cause this long trip to louiseville is goin to take a toll on us but it will get us ready for playoffs if you remeber last year we traveled to somerset and the trip itself was a major factor in how we played

We (Somerset) scrimmage MLC next Saturday at the Frankfort Grid, I'll give my thoughts on them afterwards.

A very long trek for me but I plan on being there!

MLC will not be able to deal with SC's running game.

To those of you coming from Inez to watch this game, a few things to keep in mind:

1) This wont be a typical 'first year program' you're playing.
2) The brand new school and facilities are 1st class (stadium size and new turf field).
3) You will see just as much, if not more talent than you will all year long in Collins.
4) Be thankful to be playing them early, because you very well might be seeing Collins playing deep in November deciding who represents 4A West in the State Championship.

Best of luck to you all. It should be a great game.

I am sure that Sheldon Clark is expecting a very tough 4A team in Collins. I hope they play well, and, just maybe, surprise a few people. We shall see!

Good luck and hope to see a great game.

What was Shelby Counties record last year? I did not think they were a great team? I think it will be good game with SC pulling out the win.

11-2 Class 6A Regional Finalist, lost to Trinity. Id call that pretty good. Most of their offense weapons were Juniors and they have all gone to Collins, except for their RB; he stayed at Shelby.

They actually went 9-3. Did lose to Trinity in the playoffs, but it was in the second round. Good season nontheless. They were a fun team to watch last year. Jerry Lucas was the offensive coordinator at Shelby Co. last season is the head coach at Collins.

I seen MLC in a passing tournment and they had a great looking group of skill players. Also they are really a 6A team and will have the numbers over SC
