His name might not rings bells and open doors, but ask any disappointed Celtics fan after Game 7 of the NBA Finals if they wished they still had Eddie House on their team and their answer would have been and emphatic, âYes.â So while Boston decided to move on and re-up with Nate Robinson this offseason, another rising Eastern Conference squad is supposedly interested in signing the man they call Eddie Buckets.
Looking to add depth at the guard position after shipping off Kirk Hinrich, the Bulls have talked about signing the veteran long-range shooter. With Ronnie Brewer most likely starting at shooting guard, House would be a great addition alongside the newest member of the Bulls, C.J. Watson. At 32 years old, and with a career 39.0 percent clip from beyond the arc, he could be the consolation prize to the Magic matching the offer put forward to J.J. Redick.

I don't know about being a big time scorer or anything.. But Eddie House is a great guard, and can shoot the 3 like no other.. I will give him props were props are due.. But the Bull's are still coming up somewhat short.. They still need one more elite player or all-star to be a great contending squad. Don't get me wrong, much love for who they have now and what they have achieved over the summer, but let's be real.. They will need some more fire power to compete with Boston, Miami, and the Magic.

I wouldn't be to surprised if the Bulls won the East. Boozer and Rose are both all stars and they are surrounded by several solid roll players.

There not far away. There a good big guy away from competing with the Lakers for it.

Noone except the Lakers will be winning the West for a few years to come so please let's not get into that argument. Everyone knows the West is down and will be for a few years until some agents and more all-star rookies head that way. It's sad the West is like that, the super power LA, and then you just have regular teams after that... It's not so easy in the East.

The West has been the better conference for a while now. It's about time the power has shifted over to the East. And IMO the Thunder are just one good big man away from competing for a title. I'm saying that as a Lakers fan too.

Well they aren't the best conference now. The championship is coming back to the East this year.. IMO, Thunder has done great things to get their program going but in all honesty they will still need a few more years before they can be contending for a championship.. Heck, what am I saying.. It will be a longggg while. As long as the new big 3 are in South Beach, then you have the old 3 in Boston, Lakers power house, Magic, Bulls.. Just to much talent surrounding the NBA in these teams.. OKC, IMO, will not knock these teams out of the playoffs if they were to meet any of them.. They can rock the west conference all day until they meet the likes of LA or PHX.. Dallas would be another team to tango with the Thunder.. They may make it to the finals down the road somewhere, only too meet one of the "thunderous" teams in the East and will still then come up short for a title.
