The Chicago Bulls have reached out to Phil Jackson through back channels to gauge his interest in returning to the franchise he won six NBA titles with, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation.

I don't think Phil is going to leave LA... He has a really good thing going for him, and his love for Kobe and everyone else.. Just don't see him leaving all of that behind.

how would they be fined?? they didn't talk to Phil directly just to a party that's close to him....Jerry Bus wanting Phil to take a Huge Pay Cut could change Phil's Mind!

that's what the story on ESPN says! but wouldn't any other team that reached out to another coach while they were in the playoffs, weren't they be fined also???
what about the assistants that are in the playoffs and are supposedly getting interviewed by other teams?

according to espn the nets did as well and they dont act like there is anything wrong with what they are doing.
