The Sistersville Tigers of the 1980's

I found this article on the internet from the LA Times dated November 17, 1985. It is about my hometown Sistersville Tigers and their football winning ways in the 1980's. The high school has since closed and consolidated with the other high school in the county. But, the article brings back so many fond memories from my days of being a young adult.

I never got to play Sistersville but watched them and my Alma mater, Gilbert, duke it out a few times. Swisher was a beast! They beat us in 84 in the playoffs and we beat them the following year. Not sure if the year is right but it was within a year or so.
