Newport scored two touchdowns in the first quarter but couldn’t get anything after that.
Senior quarterback Dmetri Brown ran 20 times for 130 yards and completed 7-of-13 passes for 146 yards.
Newport is now 1-2 and Harrison County is 2-1.

Newport is just warming up. look for them to win an easy one against Dayton. they have to much talent not to have a winning record this year.

The talent has always been there just like Homes but were is the heart?

I think coach rice and his staff will bring the heart back to the newport wildcats. Just a matter of time

I would love to see Newport become a power again in NKY they should be killing 2A.
