Rowan County/Harrison County Scrimmage Results
#1
Rowan co. and Harrison co. scrimmage turned ugly and both teams were seperated and play halted for nearly 10 minutes. There was a couple of ejections from both teams. If a scrimmage is officiated and ejections are made then the same rules apply in this situation that the player/players ejected will have a 1 game suspension for the following week of play. An officiated grid or scrimmage game applies to the same rules. If you are ejected from an officiated scrimmage for fighting then that player will be suspended for the first official game if it is the following week. If the refs do not turn this in to the Khsaa( Mr. Tackett) then they will have serious implications. Rowan co. showed terrible sportsmanship, trash-talking, taunting and fighting. DO NOT LET ACTIONS SUCH AS THIS SLIDE MR. TACKETT! This kind of behavior needs to be dealt with and in no shape, form or fashion should this be ignored. It was a disgrace.:dontthink
The khsaa needs to deal with this one and if the refs don't report these ejections, they need to be fired.

Does your team play either one of these teams in Week 1? Just curious.

maybe they do and was scared of them, lol

To be honest, actually neither. It's called football, which is a sport, which is supposed to have sportsmanship. You didn't see the other teams there acting like that.

A fight and ejection is a 2 game sit out I think. Yeah fight and get ejected in a scrimmage you sit the next 2 games I believe.

Rowan County acted this same way last year..I dont know if it trickles down from the coaching staff or what.

Uhmm... What game were you watching? Rowan Co. was NOT the only team playing rough. ALL teams were rough. Hate to say it, but this smells of someone that their team IS playing Rowan Friday. Oh, like Mason County perhaps?:dontthink

Are you kidding? You are a Lawrence County fan and talking about sportsmanship! What about the Bell game last season? Don't throw stones because Lawrence is one of the dirtiest teams in NE KY. Was you at the game? The Rowan kids defended themselves is what I was told by a Harrison County coach. The 2nd person always gets caught in those situations. :devilflam
