With Booth, Newsome and Porter back and the addition of coach Spurlock's daughter the Lady Cards should be the favorite once gaon with Magoffin County close behind. It will be interesting to see how Sarah Elliott will do at Lawrence County

Booth is clearly the top player in the district and region but from I saw last year the Newsome girl should have gotten more shots because she was the best shooter but most of the time would not get the ball. I would have to say that Magoffin County is the district favorite and the SC.

Paintsville just beat Magoffin County at the Knott County Sportsplex in summer ball on a last second shot by Hansford. 40-38
Paintsville lost to Knott County Central 41-33 and Wolfe County beat Magoffin County by around 20, not sure of the exact score on that one.
