Indiana Elite wins The Bill Hensley Memorial Run 'N Slam AAU tourney

Zollo of the Indy Elite AAU team defeats St Louis Gameface to take the 17U crown, 52-48 at Ft Wayne Indiana AAU tourney. The Bill Hensley Memorial Run 'N Slam AAU tourney is a moster tournament that will be played out on 32 city courts and involve 192 teams. More than 2,000 players will participate in the tournament, including the top two juniors in the country.Tony Wroten Jr. is the top-ranked junior in the nation and will play on a team based out of Seattle. Marquis Teague, will also play. Teague, the second-ranked player in the nation in the class of 2011. Indiana Elite is the only AAU team to ever win this tourney twice.

Elite 17U beat All Ohio by 20. Zollo had 16 points and 10+ rebounds in the Saturday morning game. Indiana Elite 17U advances to the finals of the Bill Hensley Memorial Run 'N Slam AAU tourney. They won their semi-finals game 76-56 over a loaded Mean Streets team. In the finals Indiana Elite beat St Louis Game Face by a score of 52-48.

Ge'lawn Guyn had a great weekend with Indiana Elite! He has not played in six weeks but played well from all reports.

To my knowledge he is going to be playing with Indiana Elite this summer. Will be a great opportunity for him. Very talented team.

Ge'lawn and Vinny played together this weekend in Ft, Wayne. This was Ge'lawn Guyn first tourny.
