Quarterback David Powers accounted for four touchdowns for host East Jessamine (1-0), including a 46-yard pass and a 76-yard run in the first quarter. Cameron Thomas added two TD runs, including a 31-yarder in the fourth quarter

East had a very nice opening win last night...rushed for 451 yards. QB David Powers rushed for 120 yards and three TD's and threw for another, and RB Cameron Thomas had 189 yards and two TD's. Spencer scored late to make the score closer than it was, as East was able to open up a big second half lead. Spencer has a nice team and will make some noise in their district in 3A.

SINCE YOU DONT FEEL THAT THE O-LINEMEN HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 450+ RUSHING YARDS. I WILL SAY GREAT JOB EAST OL. I ALSO THINK HUNT AND HAGER HAD A GREAT GAME
