lol. That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Basketball is, and always will be, a players game. NOBODY ever won a regional tournament, much less a state tournament, without good players. There are a lot of good X and O's coaches; means nothing if the kids can't play. One of the most difficult things to do is take a team loaded with talent and not screw it up. Sounds like you've got something against Booher. Give him his due...he's a state champion.

I believe Coach Hatcher will turn down this job due to lack of talent coming up the next few years. They probably have the best player in the region coming back, but after that, the well is about dry for a few years and don't think he is willing to stay long enough to have to build the program back.

For McCoy to go to Pikeville or Belfry?
Or for BL not winning the region?

Hatcher will not be at Pike Central next year.
I think if they get a good coach in there that will change things around and get the kids motovated they could do something.
McCoy will have a great year, The Meade kid will be another year mature and i think he will step up and make an Impact. Cody Coleman is a good inside player when he wants to play and have a good attitude. Channing Smith is the same way also. If they kids play together and play with heart and want to win. I think they could do something. Im not saying they win region, but maybe have a string year.

Good to see PCC has a new coach and now this will end all the speculation and this one can be closed down

Kelly Carwile is going to be the coach at PC. Also I am hearing that he wants the coach from Mullins to be on his coaching staff. I think when all is said and done it will be a good move for the program.

I'm almost positive that Brandon Kidd, Mullins grade school coach, will be the Asst. under Carwile.
