Does anyone know the Draw yet for the Girls Bracket. I heard on the radio that Rowan will go to Russell.....!!!!!!!!! How great for the lady Vikings, they get to go to a school in the opening round that they already beat 63-29

Yes but I highly doubt that any girl on Russell's team in going to completly unconscious from behind the arc, and hit 9 three pointers like the girl from Fleming.

Your'e absolutly correct though. Rowan did beat Fleming, and Fleming put it to the vikings in the championship. It's hard to beat a good team twice.

That said, You have to see my where I'm coming from. Go to Ashland or East and play Russell at MSU......or Go to Russell, and get to play Ashland or East at MSU in a bonafide home game.

Look for a much better game from Russell. Ferguson didn't play and Parsley was only about 50% in that game. Coach Lane will have them ready to compete. Rowan Co. has not been playing all that well lately. Good luck Lady Devils. Regardless what happens great year ladies. All "A" region Champs and 63rd district Champs!:devilflam:1:

Do you think maybe after two or three shots they should have played D on her ? You are correct about a bonafied home game. They have had (and always have) a home court advantage at MSU !!

You would have to give Rowan County the edge no matter where these two teams play. I think it boils down to two things. How many Russell players show up and IF they play the whole game like they really want it.

These shots are no fluke. Emmons has made a career out of making shots like this. She's one heck of a shooter.

I witnessed Rowan coach at a JV game. He was keeping clock, yelling at refs, yelling at crowd. I think he needs to remember that pride comes before detruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. He is a good guy but needs to watch Rocky III and stay humble.
