Jeffersontown 67 Eastern 60

Big win for the Chargers.

Eastern has been somewhat of a disappointment this year. They really miss Chris Dowe and the leadership he brought last year.

Eastern hasn't really did all that well, but they are still a top 10 team.

On the other hand, J'town is having a very good season.

Congrats Chargers!

Nice way for J-Town to bounce back from that loss to West Jessamine last week. Congrats to them.

As for Eastern, another disappointing loss, but in the end it's just another day in the rough-and-tumble 7th Region.

Eastern is 15-6 on the year. They've beaten some very good out of state teams and have wins over Seneca (2), Clark Co, Shelby Co, and Tates Creek but have been disappointing when it comes to 7th region play.

Eastern was expected to be a hands down favorite this year in the 7th but 4 of their 6 losses have come to 7th region teams.

I just don't think they're playing up to the expectations set for them early in the season. This is a team that lost just one player from last year's squad, Chris Dowe. I guess Dowe was a bigger loss than we originally thought.

Eastern is a junior laden team though.
