Kansas will lose to either Tennessee or Texas Tech. Kentucky will have their hands full if they do not show up with their A game in The Swamp but I think they will be fine for the first several SEC games.

I'm not sure. Texas is the best team, but UK has the easiest schedule.
01-04-2010, 09:37 AM
IMO Texas may get the big L first because there is a three game stretch 18, 23, 27 of Jan. that has them playing #12 Kansas State, #10 Uconn and #24 Texas Tech
every other team has easy up till and thorough the same week
UK-@Auburn, Arkansas, @South Carolina
Kansas-#24 Texas Tech, Baylor, @Iowa State, Missouri
Purdue-@Northwestern, @Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin

If the Cats can beat Florida at Florida next Tuesday, then I don't think they will lose till maybe Feb.16,when they play Miss. St. away.
As for Texas and Kansas, someone will lose on Feb 8th as they play each other.
So its comes down to Purdue and UK,Purdue is playing really well right now.
UK is playing well too,and will get even better. So its a tossup between them.
But going undefeated is not that important,we want NO.8.thats the main goal.

3. Texas will lose to K-State,UConn or Tex Tech
4. Kentucky - Vandy in Nashville worries me

Yeah, I know...but I think there's a chance that both Kansas and Texas lose one game before they face iff in February. The Big 12 schedule is kinda grueling with all those ranked teams. Kentucky will potentially lose to either Vandy, Florida or UT on the road...I do not see a home loss this season. IMO,
Kentucky will be the last undefeated left due to the schedule that is remaining. The SEC outside of UK is tanking it up this year. I really only see maybe 3-5 SEC teams in the NCAA tourney this year.

The SEC has been sooo weak the last few years.

Texas could possibly go into the national title game undefeated. i just honestly dont think kansas can play with them. they will get a few scares here and there, but man the depth and height of the longhorns will just wear teams down. they can score 10-20 pts in a flash. watching them play arkansas their lead got cut to 2 and in under 3 minutes it was a 12pt lead. they can put it out of reach in a hurry.

All 4 teams will eventually lose this year. It's almost impossible now days to go undefeated. I think Kentucky drops two in the sec on the road, which will be good for the growing of our young players and show them they are not invinceable. I think Kentucky will be there in the end and have a shot at title #8. GO CATS!
