When you cut on the O.C. you are cutting on the head coach. It is not like that he was hired seprate from coach Mills. Coach Mills chooses what coaches do what. It is real easy to get on here and make comments like this. I also know that this is your opinion and I respect that. However, i disagree with you. As I said in an earlier post, if a play works then he is the greatest. If it doesn't, he is terrible. You call a play and hope that it works. It is not like the QB has a headset on where they can change the plays from the booth.

Then playing calling means nothing....anyone can do it with that philosophy. I mean no disrespect to the program or the OC. I just think to go to the next level that Knox needs a change there. There are reasons you do things offensively and this has been a question for many.

All I know is that their is a lot of time and effort that they put in to breaking down film each week. More than you know. It is easy for us as fans to question the calls that are made each game. I get SOOOOO tired at games hearing people screaming out "run outside or run inside or pass". If they know so much why don't they apply for a coaching job? Everybody sees things different. I think that they are doing a great job.
Then again, we could threaten to cut his huge salary that he recieves(LOL). I don't agree with every call that is made. I question "why" at times. Then again, I question Joker Phillip's when he makes play calls. Who do you think that could do better? I know that I would not want that job. You go in with a game plan and you hope it works. If things are not working in the first half, you make changes at half time. No matter what anyone thinks football is a game of chess and a game of chances. You try to run something that the defense can't stop. If you are good enough your plan will work even if the defense knows what you are doing.
Let's give them a chance. They are just now getting a talent level where things can happen. I am excited about the year comming up.

Wayne is the best thing that has happened to Barbourville besides Union College getting turf. If you all dont want Wayne Mills our struggling team will take him and all his coaches..Then you all can start going back to Bell and Corbin games. Lol...

You need to read all the post. My personal opinion about our staff is that I see no way that we could do any better. Their where other high profile coaches that had put in for the posistion before they hired coach Mills. I would not trade him or the staff for any in KY. It is not just his ability to coach the game (which I think he does an awsome job) but the way he treates our kids. He and the staff are concerned about each one of them. The team has a family type atmosphere. He and the staff teaches the kids the right kind of values that I want my kid to have. As I have said in my post before, they are not perfect but have the right heart and values that our kids need. YOU CAN'T HAVE ANY OF THEM!!!(lol). We plan on taking good care of them for a long time.
