I don't really know. I never thought I'd be saying this, but Magoffin County needs to at least be considered.

They've played 9 to 12 players in three games so far this season (that includes the two scrimmages). And they've won all three games. Their sixth man, Clay Fletcher, may be a better player than one or two of the starters. He's certainly good enough to start for nearly any team in the 15th Region. Senior Cameron Jayne comes off the bench at point guard and plays excellent defense and distributes the ball well. Junior Nathan Arnett comes in at the 4 or 5 spot and plays excellent hard-nosed basketball. He has been a very pleasant surprise for Hornet fans. Junior Shane Prater is going to be an absolute LOAD for opposing teams as the season progresses.

And that doesn't even begin to mention any of the very talented JV players that can contribute from the Hornet's bench.

That's a pretty good description of a deep bench!

Prestonsburg could go 4 or 5 deep into their bench. They have a very young bench and should get a lot of experience to help them out for the next couple of years.
#5
Paintsville has a good bench. But it never gets used......lol

Prestonsburg can not go only 4 or 5 deep on the bench. Prestonsburg can go 11 deep on the bench. Every single person on the team can go into the game and put up quality minutes for Jackie Day Crisp. He has an impressive ball club this year and an exceptional bench.

I look for pburg to give everone fits this year

Name some good players on his bench besides 4 or 5? P-burg has 5 good starters and off the bench they have Bobby Hughes, the Hall kid, and Trevor Patton. Other than that, I don't know anyone that plays basketball. I know Peters, Hamilton, and some other football players are on the team, but I have never seen them play ball. Brenton has a nice shot, but I have never seen him play, and Peters didn't even touch the court last year. So the bench is not exceptional by any means. I've laid down my red colored glasses and thought this through and I can't see anything "exceptional" about P-burg's bench besides speed. They lack experience horribly. They have about 4 or 5 freshman on their bench. In a few years they will be "exceptional", but this year I don't see them being very deep at all.

I agree with You Betcha. Magoffin has a nice bench and a very talented JV team.

I can't beleive that we're going through this again, so I'm just going to post the link to the last thread about this...http://www.bluegrassrivals.com/extreme3/...pest+bench

P-Burg as far as I can tell...
#12
I think SF does. They played 4 or 5 the other night, and all looked good. Pburg also has a good bench
#13
I like Prestonsburg they have a n athletic bench with alot of depth!
#14
since paintsville has 7-8 coaches on their bench i would have to put my $ on paintsville. i guess each of their boys has their personal trainer/coach or billy mike needs more help with stradegys than we expected out of a "legend"
#15
I would have to say pburg.

And blackcatfan pburg has no freshman on their varsity bench, they dont even have any freshman on their jv bench.

They have a couple sophmores, but thats all.

Tyler Mullins, Bobby Hughes, Jordan Hall, Lincoln slone, Taylor Clark, Trevor Patton, Nathanel Stephens, "BAM" Brenton Hamilton, Zack Ousely, Mason Vance, Michael Hernandez. I think this is what the bench looks like. You've got three point shooters, ball handlers, rebounders. Just about all are capable of quality min's when needed.
