I think BL will have a great team next year. Martin, Hamilton, and Hott are all back and will be hungry for a title. This will be their second year under Coach Akers and they all will be more comfortable with each other. Watch out for the LadyCats!

Betsy Layne will be loaded once again next season.
They return nearly everyone only losing one senior as someone already mentioned. Taylor Hott and Megan Hamilton will once again show why they are two of the best players in the 15th Region. The size of Taylor Watkins and Faith Reynolds should be tough for teams to deal with. Lindsay Martin will emerge this year of one of the best point guards in the 15th Region next season. I really think that Martin was very underrated last season and may even be a region top 10 player this upcoming year. The bench should be fine as well with players like Keleigh Wagner and other.

I have heard that this team is very good on defense but not have heard a lot on there offensive prowess. please note below the stats from last year which i recieved from a penpal that keeps up with that district. he also recently viewed a recruiting video on i high dot com i believe which he said showed a player possibly from your school that looked quite capable of scoring points he informed. so if points can be found along with there stingy defense they weild then they might very well be on the way to something pretty special this 2009-2010 calender years. And may we wish them the very best of luck on there upcoming season.

I saw Betsy Layne this summer play against Sheldon Clark. The Lady Bobcats are a good defensive team and Hott and Hamilton are good players but I still feel that Sheldon Clark still has to be the favorite. This summer game was very close with SC winning .

Betsy Layne will be a GREEAAAAT team this year. I watched them over the summer and even the big girls underneath scored points. So Hamilton and Hott are not the only players that teams need to look out for because everyone is scoring now. Their defense is still great!
