Who will win this battle near the Ohio River?

I'm going with Cov Holy Cross because of the athletes they have on the team.

I will go with Beechwood in a squeaker.

Beechwood wins this one by two touchdowns.
Best of luck to both!

This game will be closer than years' past but Beechwood is still too much for the Indians. The Tigers should be healthy this week which should help them out a lot.

I agree with you, but I will also think that Beechwoods D will not hold HC this year. Like you stated earlier, this will be a better game than last year but Beechwood wins this, putting up most of their points in the second half.

I can't find out anything about Larimore kid. He's a stud, but I'm not sure if he has even suited up this year.

Larrimore played this past week against Highlands and had several catches. I believe Schuler may have been out this past week though?
Also, Colosimo got injured during the Highlands game so not sure if he'll play this week or not.

larimore colosimo schuler adams are all playing, studer is also returning at outside linebacker

Beechwood will work hard this week, injuries may be a factor. Tigers win this one, Holy Cross is no Highlands or Dixie. Those games make the Tigers better.

This is not the a Beechwood team of the past! There are kids starting and playing who wouldn't have even sniffed the field in the past. The 6 classes have finely caught up with the Tigers. Some kids at Beechwood finally realize there are other sports at BHS worth playing. Look for the Tigers to win 1a but look for the Tigers to be more competitive in other sports as well. Tigers beat the Indians this week, but it may be the last time!

Doubtful. Beechwood's sophomore class is absolutely loaded led by Rb Vocke. Let's not forget they did defeat Highlands in the freshman championship last year and were undefeated , I believe. That Highlands freshman class is loaded with talent.
Beechwood is having a "down year" by Beechwood standards but they're still the cream of the crop when it comes to small school football in nky and 1a football statewide. Don't expect a team like Dixie to beat the Tigers every year the way they did in week one and future match ups between Highlands and Beechwood will also be much closer than this year as well.
I think a lot of you are underestimating the Tigers big time. They have had injuries the past two weeks to key players which has greatly affected the outcome of their games. With those kids coming back healthy, you'll see a completely different team out there.
