The Paducah Sun reported this week that the principal has some "personnel issues" dealing with the head coach. The Sun also reported several key starters have quit the team. Also reported locally "Tilghman Football Coach Wyatt's Job in Limbo" By WestKyStar Staff PADUCAH, KY - At least three senior starters - including possibly the squad's two best linemen - have quit the Paducah Tilghman football team and head coach Randy Wyatt was absent from practice on Tuesday. School officials have not confirmed that Wyatt has been suspended, but indicated that he has not been fired. Tilghman athletic director Dewayne Wall would not comment beyond saying that Wyatt's situation is a personnel issue that would go before the school's site-based committee. The three players quit the team following a 'mandatory' 5:00am practice - on Labor Day. Those players were not at practice on Tuesday, one is a their biggest lineman at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds. Another a multiple year starter is a 5-10, 190-pound linebacker. And another is a 6-0, 275-pound lineman who has played both offense and defense. The Tornado went 2-8 last year in Wyatt's first season and is 1-2 this season with a game at Graves County on Friday. Wyatt was suspended by the KHSAA for the first game this season for scrimmaging in August last summer and exceeding the max number of scrimmages. Tilghman lost their first game to Hopkinsville, then won their second against Beaumont, MO. Tilghman lost last Friday at home to Mayfield 21-12, and on Tuesday practice was closed to the public and media. Assistant coach Jonathan Smith is now the acting head coach.

Sounds like there are a lot of problems at PT.
Hopefully they can get through this and start getting their football program back together.
