Another great week of summer for the Sheldoin Clark Lady Cards and coach Darrin Rice as they racked up a impressive 7 - 1 record at the UK women's team camp. SC defeated Zionsville, Ohio, a team from Indiana, Dixie Heights, Fleming County, Corbin, Louisville Manual and Lexington Christian. This marks the second time this season they have beat UK recruit Sarah Beth Barnette and company. Thier only loss came against South Webster, Oho in a game they led the led most of the way. SC varsity and junior varsity also won the special sitations drills. Since some say that Besty Layne is the team to beat in 09- 10, the two will play Monday at 6 o'clock at SCHS.:rockon:

anyone that watched girls basketball last year or is a fan of 15th region girls basketball knows that no team is close to sheldon clark. Their talent is unmatchable. Yes I have seen the betsy layne team play even saw them once this summer. They have a couple of good players but they are no match for sheldon clark and booth. Sheldon Clark has proven they are a championship team by winning the ALL A and a good showing at the state tournament. Betsy Layne is good and will do well this year but they do not have what it takes to compete with SC. Good luck tonight CARDS!! Show them what you are made of!!

Booth is an amazing talent. I would love to see her go to UK when the time comes. Congratulations Cards. Those were some of the best teams in the state last season, no easy feat.

I do believe Sheldon Clark is the definite favorite to win the 15th region. However, don't make your reservations in Bowling Green just yet. Ballgames are won on the floor, not in forums.
