Kenny Perry has decided to play in theBritish Open next week after meeting with doctors for his mother,who is dying of blood cancer. Perry was criticized last year when he did not go to golf'soldest championship, sticking to his commitment to play inMilwaukee and to his goal of making the Ryder Cup team for thecompetition held in his native Kentucky.
