Does everyone agree that P-burg, Betsy Lane, Allen Central and South Floyd would battle for last place in the 57th. Baseball is as weak as I have ever seen in it in the Floyd district.

When will this game be rescheduled?
No need to down the Floyd County teams!!!!
They give it all they got, night in and night out!
Just Don't have the numbers, the coaches, the facilities nor the success for any consistency season in and season out IMO

I'd say every team in the 58th would finish last in the 57th.

All of the schools in 58th are some of the smallest in the region and state. That's why each struggle in a lot of sports, because their simply isn't enough kids in each school. Plus baseball just doesn't draw in a lot of money, because most schools don't even charge an admission price. Prestonsburg just began charging admission this year and the Blackcats just recently got a decent field and training facility. Allen Central & Betsy Layne don't even have their own fields, so they have to share one in Allen's Stumbo Park. South Floyd has a field, but its 5-10 miles away from the school in Drift.

Sure each could be better, but there isn't enough money to go around to make a lot of the kids want to participate in the sport.

Its his nature.... Read what he wrote on a congrats thread to a middle school basketball team. He always has something negative to say about Floyd County teams. :flush:
