Can you actually get on here and simply lie? Because there is not one ounce of truth about Matney saying anything loud, mean or negative to the officials. In fact, he told the newspaper and the officials crew he thought they did a good job. The only thing that had to do with the police was when a nice city policeman said to call on a cell phone if any problem occurred with any hecklers while leaving town. Our coach believes the call was missed but not that his team was intentionally cheated by anyone, not even the 1931, 32, 33, 34, 35 state champs.

That was definitely close.. I watched it on WYMT and it looked good.. on the pics it doesn't .. but it's forsure a heart breaking lose for Johnson Central

Those still pictures somone from ashland posted sure look fishy to me.Just think for one second about where that camera must have been located.It sure doesnt look like the 50 yard line where Ashland films from.And man if WYMTs film doesnt tell the story nothing does.That Brian Milam is the all time greatest.I going to name my next child after him.
Where is Jim Garrison or Jack Rubenstien when you need them?
If you ask me ,our coach has an amazing calm and peace about him.Cant get him to
say one bad thing about ashland or its staff.I belive they ve prozacked him or the real
coach we love who fights for the mountain kids has been abducted!!!!!!!

Any view from one of the sideline is going to be skewed. Basic geometry shows that a view from the Ashland sideline will make this particular kick look wider because it was on the far side. From the JC side, the kick would look to be closer. This is the same reason that Ashland fans felt their 2nd XP was good while it was in fact wide but it was wide left as opposed to wide right.

Thats Terrific! Johnson Central lost to Ashland whine, whine, whine. Inez beats JCMS 8th grade more whining! They have more crutch's than a cripple hospital! I wonder if they eat cheese with all that wine!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr can we just let the missed fg alone its done ashland is the district champs and now both teams are getting ready to play in the playoffs or preparing for their game to blow their rivale out of it. everytime i read this it makes my stomach turn a W is a W and a L is a L.

I agree tcn, Had I known all these EXCUSES were going to come about I would have never went to the darn game. You dont see anyone else making 3 pages of excuses! unfair this and unfair that. can you not accept the fact that Ashland had the better team on this paticular night? well they did now go get mason and we'll go get boyd. good luck to both great teams!

If both teams play to the best of their abilities, it is very likely. The most likely scenario is that JC would have to beat Madison Southern and Bell County while Ashland would have to beat Clay County and Rockcastle.

Another JC vs Ashland game would be great. This is one of those games you love to hate. You love to see two great mountain teams face off in the playoffs. You just hate to see either one end thier season. Good luck to both teams come playoffs next week. :rock:

True but if they do meet it will go down in history. But I do not see it happening.
