Feb.14-Slipknot, Coheed and Cambria, and Trivium - This one would only be worth seeing for Coheed

Feb.24-Saving Abel, Papa Roach, Buck Cherry, and Avenged Sevenfold - This one would only be worth seeing for Buckcherry

Feb.27-Nickelback, Seether, Saving Abel - I'd rather throw up in my mouth than see any of these. Especially Nickelback.

I agree with you on the Coheed concert, but i like Nickelback-not a huge fan, but id pay to see them. Also Seether is probably one of my favorite bands ever, also Saving Abel is awesome, so i really want to go to it. And for the expo concert i like all 3 bands and would be more than happy to go watch them.

I have a few friends that seen Coheed open up for Linkin Park at Rupp last year and said Coheed is terrible live.

I know your band is Christian, and you may not like A7X because of some of their lyrics, but you cannot deny they're an awesome band, and one of the most popular out right now.

If you're expecting to hear the singer sing like he does on the CD then yes, I can agree with that.

But the fact is, that guy cannot sing that high every day-in and day-out. If he did, his vocal chords would shrivel up and fall out.

So you have to go into the concert understanding that he is going to be singing much differently than he does on the album. The music itself is great though.

I talked to a girl who went and watched them in Louisville and she said she loved it. So i guess it's just a matter of opinions.

I see.

I'm no fan of Coheed and Cambria, but Welcome Home is a very good song.

Lyrics have nothing to do with it. I listen to Iron Maiden almost daily.

I don't like Avenged Sevenfold. They aren't my cup of tea. Not sure about being one of the most popular right now either. I don't know anyone who's actually seen them in concert, or let alone bought their album.

I hate generic, crap-rock where every song sounds the same, like Nickelback.

I take it you haven't listened to Nickelbacks new album "Dark Horse.", well anyways, I think that alot of the songs are very different from each other. But, what do I know about music, haha, I only know what I like. Big Grin

I have heard some of the new album because they play it on Octane (XM Radio) and don't like it. Sounds like typical Nickelback.

Their label must have some serious swing with the radio stations too. When 103.3 in Lexington was debuting their new song "Something In Your Mouth" they allowed listeners to call in or vote online on how they liked the song. Only about 33% of the people actually liked the song, however, they continue to play it.

Don't know, but I met them and their management in Nashville a while back. They were pretty good guys.

The two best bands I see in that list are Trivium and Seether. The rest are average at best.

BTW, if anyone hasn't heard of Trivium, do yourself a favor and listen to some of their music. If you're a fan of rock/metal, you'll be glad you did.

I'm going to see Papa Roach and Buckcherry on the 24th!! I love Papa Roach

I got my fiancee tickets to the Slipknot show for Christmas. He absolutely loves them and has always wanted to see them, so we have pretty good seats. He likes the other two bands too. I only know Welcome Home because of Rockband (Big Grin) and a few Slipknot songs because of him. This is my first non country/pop concert. lol
