Whats their chances playing in Bowling Green in Dec. 2009?Can teams such as Belfry,Mason, and Russell keep them from playing on that cold winter Carpet.
I personally think they have their best shot at winning in long time, lots of returning starters and pick-up of a good linbacker has helped them out a lot,off season workouts and in weight room will let all know how they will fair.

Breathitt will be the clear favorite to return from the East.
But, Belfry was also the c;ear favorite this time last year and we saw how that turned out. Belfry, Sheldon Clark, and Mason County all will have very good teams capable of challenging Breathitt.

Breathitts chances on returning to Bowling Green is very good. Some players have came back that hasnt played the last couple years. Jade being healthy will add another weapon to this high powered offense of Breathitt. Channing will do his thing and score his TD's. With John Paul leaving for Pike Central, Justin Haddix is going to have to step up and run the offense. The offense is gonna be fine, but the defense is my only worry.

I feel that it would be a disaster if they did not make it all the way. I do not think anyone will challenge them in their region. They very well could be the best team in the region in all classes period. Putting up points will not be an issue and the only thing that can hold them back is there defense. If the Bobcat's can put together a very solid defense then they will walk through every challenger.

They should be better than they were this year, but it will not be handed to them and Belfry and the other usual "powers" in the east will not go down without a fight....If Breathitt wants to make it to the finals in 2009, they better come ready to take care of business night in and night out, and let the results of that hard work take them where they want to go....Go Bobcats!

We will be there. I will miss Coach Chapman. Good Luck to him.

Coach Holcomb always has the boys playing one game at a time and wont let things get to the players head.

I don't think the coaching change will change Breathitt's ultimate destiny in 2009. They will be in Bowling Green!

Chapman will be missed no doubt, but I think that Coach Holcomb. can get it going on defense. With almost the same team returning, they are the hands down favorite IMO.

Chapman just may not be going no where talk is just talk,Chapman has put a lot in to this bunch of young men and leaving them dont seem right but he will have to say i am leaving before anyone get the defense job, they have 1-2 on staff that would/could step up and do a good job,who knows someone may be brought in,if things change and coach is needed. But untill job is open i say Chapman isn't going nowhere...
