Is allen central as bad as people say they are. They have talented skill players but no defense. That's all ive heard about them and that they play there azz's off trying to win. I think we should give this team some more respect.

every team deserves respect cause they are out there playing th egame they love!
but when they try as hard as you say they do and still come up short then they deserve it a little more cause they never give up

Allen Central (middle and high schools) has some very talented football players. I have watched both groups play this year. They have one big problem- lack of players. The middle school team has 12 eighth graders and 3 seventh graders. Almost half of the 8th grade players had never played football. The high school has Seniors players out this year who haven't played since middle school. They have about 25 players total. Coach Jeremy Hall is working with the middle school program in an attempt to build from the ground up. This is the first year they have had enough players to field a "c" team and a "b" team.

I can't comment on the HS lack of defense being a factor - I'm not sure about that. But like I've said in previous posts, when you have players who are playing both offense and defense as well as kick off and return- its hard to play an entire game. I think I read that AC has only 2 freshmen football players this season. Maybe those 12 eighth graders will be out next season.
