If JC continues to play to thier potential they should win the 57th without much trouble. Several district games left at thier place. If they come out one night not ready, any team can win, look at the MC game. I think Coach M has the Eagles ready to go.

Johnson Central without a doubt IMO. Around tournament time they always kick it in gear despite their record, as for second place, it's a toss up... Depends on how the draws are. Lawrence should make it, but SC @ SC is going to be hard to beat.

I would not rule out the Hornets. Coach West does a great job of getting
his kids to play around tournament time. SC should be there it is at their
place and they are a Sr dominated team with one of the best guards in the
region. LC and JC will contend. Should be interesting. I pick my Hornets
for a upset.

No offense, but you guys barely put Paintsville away on your home floor and had the Tigers had any ability to capitalize on the many opps given them in the 4th, the could've beat the Cardinals by 10 or more. No way, SC will beat JC or LC out this season.

I think LC is a very good team this year. But I wouldn't say they are any better on a given night than JC. JC seems to have put their internal probs behind them so we'll see who wins the region. Either LC or JC will though IMO. But NO WAY is Lawrence Co. the best in the District!:confused: You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that as well as your school spirit, but IMO I see no way for LC to knock out SV!! As to the other teams, LC can play with them on a given night. But it would be hard for LC to beat SV on a bad night for SV. Best of luck though!

LC is probably the best in the 57th district this yr---even though JC has more "talent". JC is just too up and down. But if JC gets their mental stuff together before the district tourney they can win the district tourney---and I'd rather win the tourney than the regular season.

But a far as region....There is no way LC is better than SV. Don't want to step on toes but SV is loaded this yr. in comparison to the rest of the 15th. The 15th is SV's to lose---especially with the regional tourney being held at the expo center.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't be shocked to see SV get knocked out by a team like LC---but it would be a big time UPSET.

JC will go throguh the district and give SV a run for the region. Too much talent for anyone in the 57th to match up with when they are playing good. It just takes one bad night to end a great teams run so all teams will have to work for it.
