i disagree with this. every year the ladycats of breathitt co. are left out of the top 20. for example last year when we won the 14th region and won 1 game in the sweet 16. we returned 3 starters plus a loaded bench. so why do we not get the respect we deserve.

i feel we should be up there somewhere not to mention we have went to sate 2 years in a row and this year will make a 3-peat.

Breathitt County did receive votes, just not enough to break into the top 20 this week. This is a statewide ranking and it's hard for mountains teams to compete. A lot of teams can make it to state by winning their region and not be able to win a game once they make it into the Sweet 16. Breathitt has an outstanding team, I just don't know if it's enough to say that they are one of the best in the STATE.

I think that Breathitt Co. can play with a lot of the top teams in the state this season and they will have a lot of chances to prove that with their schedule playing Clay Co 2 times, Johnson Central 2 times, and gonig to Lexington Catholic's Tourny I don't know a lot of teams anywere in the state that play that kind of a schedule.
But as I have told people for a long time it doesn't matter what people think of you it matters what you do on the court and I think Breathitt will end the season with a lot of people knowing they are the real deal this season.

i think that Sheldon Clark should be in there..they are good enough to be there...
