I don't think Paintsville's best player, Tiller, is playing middle school, so I would expect the game to be a pretty good one.

He started varsity Sat. against AC. I doubt he plays any.

I haven't seen all the teams play this year so I'll mainly comment on the ones I have seen.
Dalton Richardson--Virgie
Cody Belter--Dorton
Kyle Oliver--Millard
#11--Millard
#1--Kimper
I haven't seen Belfry, Pikeville, FC, EC, Mullins, Phelps, or Johns Creek yet this season. I do remember Tony Messer from Belfry as being a good player and Ethan Rowe from Pikeville.

Millard 49 - Paintsville 36
Millard was led by Kyle Oliver who had 16 points, 22 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 assists. Millard also had great contributions from Travis Lawson #11 who had 13 points, Stacy Maynard with 12 points and Andrew Johnson with 8 points.

The boys played great last night, especially coming off of a three day weekend. They started out sluggish, but then the intensity we play kicked in, and then the game turned around. Congratulations to our boys, and Paintsville because they have a tough team.

Congrats to the coaches and young men @ Millard Middle. Good Luck the rest of the season.

I have not seen many teams play this season, but watching Millard last night I believe Millard can play with any middle school program if they want to. I think they play as a team and I think Coach Coleman has got the boys believing in his system. I think #22 for them is their spark plug, he is an athlete, enough said. #30 has the best shot as a big man. The boys look good and can turn heads if they play the entire game with great intensity. If I'm not mistaken they have one kid who is pretty good injured right now. That will add to their depth.

We do have one player out - Nick Shortridge. He will make us a much better and deeper team once he comes back. He has the potential to be a double digit scorer and provides added rebounding. He should be able to return about the middle of December.
