Went to the pumpkin patch today
#1
A great way to save a few bucks.

We have a place where we always get our pumpkins and Christmas trees: Baldwin Farms here in Richmond.

Now, on Friday I went to Save-a-lot for groceries. While there, I noticed that Save-a-lot had pumpkins for sale. I thought this might save me some time and money but I was wrong. The pumpkins at Save-a-lot were $4.99 for a pumpkin that weighed between 5 and 10 pounds. The "pie" pumpkins for baking were $1.99 as well.

Well, at the farm today, I got an 11 pound pumpkin for $4.00, a 5 pound pumpkin for $2.00, and 4 "pie" pumpkins for $0.40 each.

Pretty good deal. If you have a pumpkin farm in your area I recommend going out and getting your pumpkins at one. Not only will you save money, but you get to pick from hundreds, if not thousands, of pumpkins.

Yeah I went to one the other day in Georgetown and bought a 12 pounder for around 4 bucks. Spent a few more bucks on some other activities they had, but it was worth it, and a lot of fun.

Bi-Water Farms?

I went there last year if so. Pretty good place too.

Yeah that's it. I couldn't remember the name but it was a fun place.

Yeah, that's a good place too, just a little too far for me to drive today.

Last year they had a corn maze and haunted house. They also had some really good homemade jams, jellies, and salsa.
