What do think

Did they have somebody quit? I heard that RB quit a couple of weeks ago, is that true or not?

Belfry usually has a good line, but I will tell you more after I see them play my Cards lol

Ryan Blackburn, arguably their best offensive lineman quit, but the line is still real good and will get better. Corey Coleman has moved from a tight end spot into the interior of the line and is one of the best hitters on the team.

Ryan Blackburn is what I meant by RB.

All i have heard is D-1 is still hot after him, but he has the option of Naia as well.

Coleman should fill the slot pretty good. Corey is a handfull and a half!!!!

I believe Blackburn will do very well from what i understand.

Yeah, they're real high on quitters at the D-I level.

Belfry's line never matches up solely with any team's D-line... Belfry's line typically matches up with the other team's Line, LB's, and occasional CB... I don't remember the last time I saw Belfry line play without 9-10 in the box.

As long as Belfry continues running closed offensive sets, you may never see fewer there. After all...it's only reasonable to expect defenses to align themselves to attempt countering those heavy power formations (wishbone and veer).

Jealous? What in the world could a kid that doesnt have the heart or desire to finish a stellar high school career have that someone else would be jealous about? The bottom line is this kid couldnt handle a little discipline and decided to take the easy way out. He decided that he was bigger than the teammates he has had for the last 4 years and in the end he has let down a lot of people but I promise you this, he is letting himself down the most and will look back on this decision as probably the worst mistake of his life. You get to enjoy playing high school football for 4 years and then its gone and there is no way to get it back.

There is more to the story than is put on here. Unless you KNOW the facts please don't belittle the young man. I personally KNOW what happened but don't feel it is my place to state the entire story.

Just a hunch, but I'm pretty sure that guy knows exactly what happened............

From what I've been told, he just simply didn't want to play anymore. Can't fault a kid for that, afterall, football is a lot of work, and if you don't enjoy it I can see how it could make a kid miserable. As things stand right now, Corey is stepping into the interior line, wearing Will's old #63 now. Hard to believe he was the star HB of the freshman team 3 years ago
Coleman's a beast. He's strong, competitive, and aggressive, and he'll be a fine OLineman, though of course I hate to lose him from TE. But, these things happen in football. If one of the younger kids step up then I'd say they'll move him back to TE, but until then moving him inside was the best option they felt.
I AM glad that Corey will be closer to the linemen now: he'll whip them into shape for Louisville!
EDIT: P.S. Don't let the world get you down, Roid.
