This is an nice article in the ADI and thought I would share it with everyone.
LEXINGTON â Bill Mike Runyonâs illustrious coaching career at Paintsville will end â fittingly enough â in the State Tournament.
Runyon, who announced earlier this month that he will retire after this season, is in exclusive coaching company. He has the Class A school back in the Sweet Sixteen for the eighth time.
âItâs a great feeling,ââ Runyon, 52, said before practice Monday as Paintsville prepared for tonightâs matchup with Jeffersontown. âItâs special for me, but even more special for the six seniors that have been working hard trying to make it to Rupp Arena.ââ
