Pikeville 5, Campbellsville 4 - All A Classic Quarters
#1
Chad Walls smashed a three-run bomb in the bottom of the first to give PHS a 4-1 lead. Campbellsville made a heck of a rally and had bases loaded with two outs in the seventh, but Jake Altman grounded out to Walls at third.

Chase Huffman did a good job on the mound for Pikeville. Wade McCown was a little shaky in getting the save and popped off a bit at the C-ville dugout a few times which almost caused a little post-game skirmish, but cooler heads prevailed.

Panthers play Heath tomorrow, which should be a dandy semifinal. Both teams are getting poll respect, which is odd for teams outside Lexington, Louisville and Northern Kentucky. We'll see who takes the cake.

Good to see the alma mater win!
