Okay, I'm gonna try this one more time. I got absolutely lit up a few years ago on a competitor website for daring to even suggest such a ridiculous thing. I don't think it's ridiculous at all. Do you remember some of those UCONN Women's teams that won all those titles? Remember ladies like Rebecca Lobo, Maya Moore, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, and others. I've had guys tell me that no women's team could beat any boy's team. That's absurd, imo. You mean to tell me that those big, athletic UCONN teams wouldn't beat Redbird Mission? South Carolina Lady Cocks couldn't take down Middlesboro? Ridiculous, says Old School.

There are high school girls teams in this state that can beat HS boys teams in this state. Sacred Heart over Red Bird mission this year especially. Probably a few more homeschools. I know the Knoxville Ambassdors that came to Bell a few weeks ago probably would hate to see a Sacred Heart team with Johnson.
College is where the separation happens. Uconn girls at their peak would not beat Union College. Caitlyn Clark would not be able to play for a D1 basketball men’s team. I’m sorry but if you think that her or any females speed and athleticism matches a D1 basketball player or even NAIA you are wrong. HOWEVER…
My argument for years has been there has been HS football and Basketball teams that could beat college football and basketball teams. Is the union college team that got beat 91-0 by the cumberlands and only scored a few times all year going to beat 2001 De la salle with Maurice Jones Drew and 33 D1 players, no they are not. Would that union team beat an Allen Texas team with Kyler Murray, absolutely not. Heck I have even went so far to say that there are high school teams in kentucky that would beat union college that year. But everyone argues.
In basketball, it’s a certainty that high school teams beat college teams. Look at the OTE league or even the top prep schools and put them up against D3 or low NAIA. Not even a matchup. I would put Monteverde of last season over some of the low D1 programs. Let’s be honest, if cooper flagg, asa newell, and liam mcneely are doing what they are doing now as freshman against the top of the top.. why couldn’t they do it last year against Mississippi valley or Ark pine bluff if they are ALL ON THE SAME TEAM!!

I said GOOD college women's team and BAD boys HS team.
However, I'll go a step further, I think an ELITE women's college team could beat a DECENT HS boys team.

What in the hell would some pimply-faced 16 y.o. kid from Pineville or Paintsville do with 6'9" Brittney Griner , 6' 5" Tina Charles, 6'4" Miss Everything Breanna Stewart, Chamique Holtzclaw, Rebecca Lobo, Maya Moore, Diana Taurasi... And don't let your minds go to dirty places. Come on, people, these highly skilled women in their primes would crush these young kids.

I might have missed someone's post that said a women's SEC team could compete with a men's SEC team. That would be a pretty asinine statement to make. I doubt the women could play within 50. What I said is that there are some high school boys teams that would get decimated by a really good women's college team.
