Estill played well and Owsley went through a time in the second quarter that they turned the ball over, usually on double team jump defenses at midcourt that resulted in several Estill layups and took a 3 point Owsley lead to a 10 point deficit quickly. And they were unable to dig themselves out of that hole the rest of the game. Estill starts 5 guards and they are quick, especially Snowden. They shot the ball well too, making seven 3s. Owsley will have to make some adjustments if they are going to win their next round with the Lady Engineers. They have the size advantage but need to take care of the ball a lot better and find ways to get the ball inside to their bigs, which will also open up the perimeter for shots as well.
And it’s good to see Estill guard Jayci Long on the hardwood again. She is valuable to them, scored 22 in this game. She sat out all but the first few games last year with a knee injury. The young lady is good.

I’m glad you feel the need to talk about kids and their talent. Hide behind that keyboard. Owsley has played a difficult schedule as always. But again nice of you to disparage Buckhorn and Jenkins. I feel sorry for you and your jealousy.
