If Trump scraps the IRA as he promised on the campaign trail, what will happen to the 2 EV battery factories being built in Glendale, Ky? Nearby Elizabethtown has started a $150,000,000 upgrade of their wastewater plant and there are dozens of new apartment buildings being built, so if the plug is pulled, someone may be left holding the bag in those communities. I doubt though that this campaign promise will come to fruition as it could possibly impact 109,000 new factory jobs across the Country.

Hope they get what they voted for. Not counting the $2,000 for Medicare recipients for drug cost before it was $8,000 out of pocket, and Medicare can start negotiations with drug companies. Let's not forget the coal miners who have black lung the IRA restored the black lung tax to $1.10 a ton after Trump cut it in half in his 2017 tax cuts .55 cents a ton. That's your Friends of Coal at work.

I hope I get what I voted for too. Somebody tell Maga Nut that the coal industry is all but dead and all the jobs are gone, and over-regulation and excessive taxes played a big part. The whole purpose of the libtards existence seems to be trying to get their grimy mitts on other people's money. There is no point where (other people's) taxes are too high. They whine about tariffs on foreign goods being put in place to be in line with tariffs on US goods but there is no tax on US business that they will ever be against. As always, they make no sense.

'Gotten out of hand': GOP rep rebels against Trump after he withholds money for his district.
One of President Donald Trump's Day One executive orders that flew under the radar is provoking significant pushback from Congress — including from at least one House Republican.
The Atlantic reported Tuesday that Trump is now apparently violating Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution with an executive order pausing the disbursement of federal funds already appropriated by Congress. On January 20 — the same day Trump pardoned January 6 insurrectionists and attempted to repeal birthright citizenship — Trump issued an executive order entitled "Unleashing American Energy."
Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.), who represents a purple district in the Omaha area, told the Atlantic that Trump's executive order was "alarming," particularly for his constituents, who were counting on $73 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to upgrade Omaha's airport.
"You just can’t determine what laws you want to execute and what you don’t," Bacon said, adding that executive orders from presidents representing both parties have "gotten out of hand."
'Reads like a hostage note': Trump order flagged as 'massive fraud' by ex-official
"This is cruel," Spiro wrote. "A sampling of funding potentially affected in health care: all opioid prevention funding, all mental health funding, funding for community health centers, suicide prevention and the suicide lifeline, HIV/AIDS treatment, grants to states to address avian flu."
Spiro believes that Vought, a conservative activist and Project 2025 architect who is Trump's nominee to lead the agency, was exerting improper control over the office he has not yet been Senate-approved to lead.
"In sum, Russ Vought is illegally carrying out his ideological agenda with greatest harm to the most vulnerable — including many in the working class and rural communities who voted for Trump," Spiro wrote. "A massive fraud."

The Constitution means nothing to this bunch!

I see where Trump suspended all defense contractor's funds. Hope the prevaricator gets what he voted for.
