Weekend afternoon tip in Nashville.
Vanderbilt is coming off a big win against Tennessee. They also have wins over LSU and South Carolina and losses to Mississippi State and Missouri in their last five. All of those results were within 10 points either way. The Commodores have a mid-week tilt at Alabama while Kentucky doesn't have a weekday game this week.
Think that the experienced roster will be much better at communicating and handling the unique set-up of Memorial Gym than we've seen with past teams. I'll take Kentucky and think that the margin will be 5+.

I've never liked road games at Vandy, definitely a unique environment, but that's why I don't like it, plus it's always been a tough place to play.
Kentucky sure needed a week off in between games, just to practice, get more prepared but more than anything else get healthy.
Vandy is capable of an upset as we've seen already, but I think Kentucky gets into a good rhythm offensively at Memorial, and wins this one in a high scoring game.
Kentucky-94
Vanderbilt-81

The Cat's are benefiting and getting some needed rest and practice this week. In order to come out fresh and rejuvenated this weekend. Come Saturday the Cat's will be ready to rock n roll baby!!!

Better damn sure win this one. Knoxville next, then Cal back in for homecoming. A loss at Vandy, Tenn. , and to Cal will have 20% of the nuttiest fanbase on the planet calling for Pope to be shipped off to Kolob.

Two things in my mind that helps UK going into this game is 1) the time off to work on things especially our health. And 2) Vandy is coming off a big win that sometimes can lead to a let down the next game. Of course they play Alabama before us so that let down could come then. Either way if that happens then Vandy may be cooled off quite a bit come game time against us. I think Cats get back on the winning track with this one.

I e always hated when we go to Vandy, seems like we have trouble there a lot. Gotta go with my heart, UK pulls out a squeaker

This has sorta sneaked its way in to being a massive game for the Cats conference hopes. Any conference road win, by anyone this year, is huge. And we sure don’t want to head into Knoxville at 3-3 in the league. I think this will be another high-scoring, down to the last couple of minutes type game. Hope a lot of UK fans can get tickets and maybe eliminate some of the home court edge.

Just not good basketball in this one. So many unnecessary turnovers, terrible rebounding, and we already know how bad our defense has been. Plus we had to listen to Jimmy Dykes. All in all a terrible day of basketball for the Cats. May need to stop enjoying Cal's struggles because the way this team plays and the way the conference is, we could be on a losing streak in a blink of an eye.

I just don't know if you are an elite Blue Blood program if you are losing to Georgia and Vandy and getting crushed by a school that wins football championships only. A loss in Knoxville and a loss to Cal at home and you'll start to hear a lot of Big Blue rumblings and grumblings.

Vanderbilt was better than I thought, but this isn't a game that we should have lost, even without Carr.

I see a crash course in the NCAA vs Robert Morris in the UK future. We know how that one ends.

I wouldnt say they are troubles, it just how college basketball is now.
You know no one listens to plant, yet he is wise beyond his leaves.
