On the same night at the Mountain Classic in Hindman Gary Roberts scored 16 points for Virgie. 1-14-91 at Pikeville Murray Garvin 18, Mullins 18 and J.P. Blair 17 points. Murray Garvin in January 1992 scored 28 points vs. Madison Central at Clark County. As i drove 23 south today to Ivel and miss seeing all the coal truckers making their way North. 1-7-76 Kenny Trucking Murray scored 27 points for Johnson Central. The Blaine Grade School lost a talented 7th grade girls basketball player this week. We must always think about how great a player Brian Charles was for Phelps. Also, his team winning the 88 Region at Pikeville. Brian a 10th grader in December 1985 scored 38 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals.
