Hounds travel south to the 'Burg and get the win.  Just too much for the Jackets on this night.  Eli and Farmer had just ten points between them, i think,  and the Hounds still ripped off 92 points. Blackburn had four threes  and 14 points IN THE FIRST QUARTER.  Corbin has multiple guys that can hurt you. Corbin goes to 2-0 in the district and heads back to Goldbug on Tuesday to play Whitley County.

Williamsburg tried to muck this game up. This stat almost sounded wrong but i was told connor middleton had 28 pts and 17 REBOUNDS!! That kid is barely 6’0”! Williamsburg has played corbin dirty the last couple games i saw them play down there. The game went beyond being chippy. Im all for physical play but there is a difference.

Rebounding is about "want to."  You've gotta want that ball more than the next guy. Remember Gerald Fitch at UK?  I don't remember his height, maybe 6' 2", or so, but he rebounded like a 6' 11' guy. Wasn't nothing for Gerald(a guard) to get double digit boards.  That's Connor Middleton. Except that Connor is a better shooter than Gerald.

Muck it up is as good a description as any.  Problem with the way WBurg has tried to play Corbin the last couple times is that things like that can get out of control and kids can lose their temper and get hurt or even miss some games if they get thrown out of a game. Physical play is fine and dandy. I'm all for it. But the Grayson Allen stuff is the kind of stuff you see at a rec center.  One of the Williamsburg players literally stuck his foot out to trip a Corbin player.
