CP on fire with 35 points. What a comeback by Betsy Layne along with shutting down Stewart in the 2nd half.

Well I will eat my crow on this one. Watched the first qtr and Pike Central couldn't miss, had BL down 29-20, with the way the game was going I figured they would've hit 90-100 points just in regulation. I also said in the other thread that I didn't think BL had anyone that could shut Stewart down in clutch time, boy was I wrong, he has that ability to take over games, but much credit to BL on getting the stops they needed, guard play is a necessity in this region, and BL has some of the best in the region with Parsons & Pente. Congrats to the Bobcats on a great win.

Consider me a person that no longer doubts these basketball bobcats. I thought they would lose this one by 15 because of size, but their guard play is extraordinarily good.

BL guards are excellent how did Lawrence turn them over so many times?
PCC has to find another offensive option. Grant hall is great defensively but they have to have another scorer outside of Stewert. Depth also a big issue and I thought they would be ahead of where they are currently.
Puente was amazing last night.
Region stacks up
pikeville
Martin
Pretty big gap to about 7-8 teams

Pente and Parsons are playing as hot as anybody in the state right now. Good guards go a long way come tournament time so they may be a sleeper team to look at for this year.
